Magic Keys is currently a free public beta on Apple TestFlight — join the beta here. You’ll need Apple’s free TestFlight app installed first. Note that the music in the beta is unlicensed and provided for testing purposes only.

No! You can tap the on-screen keys to play. However, Magic Keys also supports MIDI keyboards for a more authentic experience.
Any USB or Bluetooth MIDI keyboard that connects to your iPhone or iPad should work. Just plug it in and Magic Keys will detect it automatically.
